I was looking back on some of the posts that I hadn't finished and found this one. I love how John plans out every detail of something before he does it. This is a picture of our house with photo-shopped solar panels on it. It was during this point that he asked me "do you think that they would look better vertical or horizontal." When he asked me this, the image of a woman standing before her husband with a different style of shoe on each foot came to my mind. I could only reply, "they would both look great honey." After-all, they are solar panels, they all serve the same purpose.
I felt very lucky that after calculating how much energy we use, he decided that it would be cost-worthy to buy a new, more efficient, washer and dryer. Thanks John.
